A Must Watch Hate to Love Enemies to Lovers Thai Drama

It is with much excitement that we bring to you another highly recommended must watch hate to love, or enemies to lovers, Thai drama, Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai (From Enemy to the Heart) We have known about this lakorn even before it aired, in fact, we promoted it on our Youtube Channel for the fans to anticipate.

Highly Recommended Enemies to Lovers Lakorn

Hell, we didn't expect it turned out to be an awesome Thai series to watch, like, seriously it was really good. If you're looking for a Thai drama that has that Kluen Cheewit vibe in it, this one's a perfect choice. The story is different and isn't primarily a revenge drama, yet the degree of hate and unfortunate incidents that led to them hating each other and how they later looked after each other, plus the undeniable chemistry between Mik and Aum, would remind you of Kluen Cheewit. This Thai drama isn't that old, by the way. It was aired late last year until December 2020.

The Main Leads

The pairing of Mik Thongraya and Aum Patcharapa is probably the most unusual on-screen pairing because of the age gap, and we're not talking about 2, 3, or 5 years. It's way more than that. We love Aum so much that we'd rather not talk much about it.

Not sure if any actress in her generation could pull off what she's done for this drama. You wouldn't even notice the age gap. And, if you're not really familiar with the actors, you'd think that they're of the same generation.

You could talk about your favorite Thai actresses and all, but Aum is, without a doubt, the Queen of Thai Entertainment. And she's serving her fans with quality dramas time and time again. She has maintained her petite figure and just doesn't seem to age. She's known to look younger than her age, by the way.

And thank God for Mik's mature look, he's a fit for her on screen. They looked so good together.

And we were taken aback at how lit their chemistry was. Didn't expect that. Goodness, the tension was just... Every time they were together was simply a tease.

The push and pull was fun and wasn't always dramatic. They had quite a number of lowkey funny moments together.

Mik's pairing with Aum is our top favorite, alongside Pooklook with the lakorn, Unwilling Bride. BUT, among all of his dramas we have reviewed up until this point, Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai is our top favorite!

The Synopsis

This Thai drama is pretty much a mystery action thriller with romance in it. The plot is fascinating that it would keep you interested in everything that was going on. Aum plays as Sophita, a hi-so CEO who manages their furniture company in place of her ailing dad. She's quite a strict no-nonsense boss, but she was mentally disturbed and developed anxiety after the sudden tragic death of her younger sister, Sararin. Mik plays as Jett, an ex-convict turned hired gunman. His first target was Sophita, who coincidentally was the sister of her late ex-girlfriend, Sararin. He would grab the chance to avenge his misfortunes because of Sophita.

Sophita was strongly against her sister's relationship with Jett. She knew he was an ex-con and thought he was only with Rin for money. She forced Rin to break up with him. And then Jett went through a lot of unfortunate incidents, which he blamed it all on Sophita.

If it weren't for her, Jett believed that Rin would still be alive. He blamed her for Rin's death. But, Sophita equally hated him because she firmly believed that he was the reason why Rin died with Rin's diary as her proof.

But, in the process, Jett would end up keeping her alive in order to unravel the truth behind Rin's death, and an unexpected romance would blossom as he and Sophita would search for the truth.

Drama Review

  • Story: 9.8

  • Chemistry: 10

Positive

  • The whole narrative of the lakorn was quite compelling, keeping you at the edge of your seat!

  • It wasn't much of an action thriller as you'd expect it to be. The action scenes were more on the first few and last episodes, and some in between.

  • The chase was spot on right from the get-go.

  • The story turned out different as you'd expect it to be. They tried so hard not to make it look too predictable.

  • The backstories were pretty fascinating.

  • How the plot was thickened from the root cause was absolutely outstanding!

  • They added light and fun moments despite this being a dramatic lakorn.

  • The romance was beautiful. The kissing scenes were mostly legit and not mere camera-angled.

  • The chemistry was lit! The sexual tension was there for the most part when the main leads were together.

Negative

  • At some point, there were flashbacks that were too repetitive, although it did make sense why they had to do it. But if you're watching straight, it just becomes too repetitive.

  • They were milking the resolution of the conflicts. It could have ended 2 episodes earlier from the total 19. But, the beauty in it was that you'd get to see the main leads as a couple, plus, they kept the story interesting, so...
